This month's rag is a cool sweatshirt from the 1982 tour in Great Britain. This print also has been issued as ringer sytle shirt. Will display this some posts later.
Do you remember the first time you heard the cannons? I do! This is an original concert 3/4 length sleeve jersey made for the shows in Chicago and Minneapolis in 1981. A lot of these shirts were produced, since the band played five sold out shows at these venues.
This shirt was sold the Back In Black Tour in 1980. Issued without backprint. Great artwork with a unique version of the bands logo. Also available as sweatshirt (sportswear).
In the early 80s baseball jerseys became extremely popular. The Fly On The Wall Tour offered more than 10 different jersey to the fans. This one is from the North American leg in 1985. It also has been reissued by Trunk Ltd.
A shirt worth selling your soul for: Japanese Tour 1982. Comes in ringer style with a fighting samurai as backprint. I believe that this one would easily break the $1000 threshold. Only the front print will be shown clearly, to keep the mystery alive that surrounds this gem and to prevent reproduction. I really don't want to see Paris Hilton wearing a glittering remake of this gem.
Whawaweewha! I like! Seen on many fotos but impossible to find: Brians favorite. Made for the electrifying finish of the North American Tour 1980 at the Orpheum Theater in Boston. Only the front print will be shown clearly, to keep the mystery alive that surrounds this gem and to prevent reproduction.
The oldest piece of cloth in my collection: A promotional shirt from the 1977 Let There Be Rock North American Tour, with an extremely evil version of the band's logo. This one has been reissued in 2007 by Trunk LTD.
Very hard to find is this t-shirt made for the 1st leg of UK Tour 1978. The staff edition comes as hooded sweater, with reversed colors and reads 'crew' on left breast.
A shirt worth selling your soul for: Made for the legendary appearances at the Hammersmith Odeon on November 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 1979. Extremely hard to find.
